Mobile check deposit for consumers enables our customers to safely make check deposits from any location- including your home, your office, or while you are on vacation….deposits can be made anywhere, anytime, it is quick and easy!
Remote deposit capture enables smartphones to become deposit-taking devices. Through your online banking mobile application, the solution uses the phone’s camera to take a picture of the front and back of each check and submit the images electronically to the bank for processing and posting.
Legacy Bank customers must first be enrolled in Online Banking and Mobile Banking to enroll in Mobile Check Deposit.
Making a deposit is easy
- Login to your Legacy Bank mobile application.
- Select Deposit.
- Select Deposit a check.
- Endorse the check “For Mobile Deposit Only” on the endorsement line, also list the account number the check will be deposited into.
- Follow the instructions.
- Retain the deposited check until you receive credit and then securely dispose of the check.
